EMERGE is a non-denominational gospel music competition created by BOJ Studios to discover, develop and expose emerging music ministers across Nigeria.
Our story
Built on a conviction
Every congregation has a voice that leads worship faithfully week after week — a voice that has been trained in the choir, sharpened in the fellowship and proven in the secret place. Too often that voice never reaches beyond the four walls it has served.
EMERGE was created to change that. It takes gifted music ministers out of the shadows and walks them through a structured, four-stage development journey — not merely to discover talent, but to develop it to the point where it can carry a sound and a message into the nation and beyond.
Rooted in a non-denominational gospel conviction, the competition treats song as both a skill to be trained and a message to be released. Every stage is designed around that conviction — from the discipline of assigned repertoire to the honour of carrying an African sound, and finally to the moment a minister releases their own original song.

Song requires skill, and skill deserves development. EMERGE exists so that the skilful among the next generation of ministers are not just heard — they are equipped.
